Yes,I did get the Midge Jaws and a few other additions. The knobs facing away from the tyer seems to be a J thing. He sets up his jaws the same way with the knob on the backside.

I've found if you put tension on the thread as you cut it works great. Without tension the GSP seems to bend around the scissors and only cuts a few strands.

Great first Bug Cycler!! I had trouble with cutting the thread when I first started tying poppers. I would suggest a good Thread so you can really put tension on your deer hair to get it to flare....
