I use my 5/6 weight on the Rocky River at times for smallmouth as I normally don't seem to catch many big ones. Maybe I should try bigger flies and my 7 weight and I would catch bigger smallies?...

A Regular figure eight knot is what I use for rock climbing. It had better not come undone. I havn't tied it any differant when fishing the few times I've used it and haven't had any issues.

Well I snuck out of work early today (10/10) and went down to check out the Rocky River. I caught a small mouth and had a few other nibbles (I have to work on better hook setting) but no Steelhead....
