You've probably already seen this, but they are good guys. Give 'em a call.

Me too! Thanks Fly Fusion and thanks FAOL!
Great report! Danny and Steve are first class guys. I'd hate to be stuck down there by the 'ford with no wheels... yikes!
fished. well, casted to fish anyway.
My modification of a "Wired Stone" (http://www.frontrangeanglers.com/newsletter/oct05/wiredstone.htm). I use it for steelhead.

Find the Ross CO on ebay or something. I love mine on my 3.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a line to match up up with this rod? I too am thinking of a 3wt but am unsure which line to buy. I probably won't have the chance to test cast lines.
 If you have shoe dryer rack for your clothes dryer, try a couple hours on low heat. Works wonders too!
Your's sounds ike a much nicer camera than a point and shoot, but...

I have dropped my old digital p&s in the river a couple of times....

I have the C&F's you mention. I use the flip one to hold smaller nymphs and the one w/o the flip to hold dries. Seems to work pretty well for me. I plan to get one more of the larger ones...
Even if you don't think you'll use it for copying, you'll find if you have one (copier)you probably will. I have an HP all in one that I've had for years. It was higher end ($250 or so at the time,...
5 or 6 wt. Definately not the 8.
Beaches! Lot's of 'em around here. You could try the Yakima, but may need a DB by the time you are here.
I saw that episode too. That guy was an idiot. When he started manhandling that fish, I thought for sure he was gonna keep it.
Most shows do a pretty good job though.
You guys don't! Great flies!
I second Betty's suggestion. Start with little, you can always add more. The thinner the dubbed thread, the easier it is to achieve a tapered body.
First, find a new shop!
I have a TiCr-X in an 8wt. It's a great rod. Like a cannon! The fit and finish are as nice (or nicer) as any of my "upper end" rods.
Those are very cool! Thnaks.
My identity is blown!
I mostly fish nymphs. Maybe 75 percent of the time. The reason being is that I like to catch more fish. I guess I am a "numbers" guy.
That said, I'd rather fish dries. Much more exciting.
Go away Terece. Spammers are a drag!!!
Got my flies today. They look awesome. Thanks to all!!! Especially Leonard for hosting.
Spend the few extra $$$ and get a rotary. You will be thankful you did.
Ditto... again :D
