FishBum's hands now have a nice tanned leather supple feel to them. :)
Only teasing.
Once found an old microwave at a garage sale and used it to scorch the eggs and bugs. Works well but too long...

http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t316/wademade1/IMG_2911.jpg...
Got the opportunity to fish Noontootla Creek in North GA, February 6th and 7th. Was a beautiful place. We arrived late Thursday afternoon and even got to fish some delayed harvest water on the Taccoa...
I know this is a terrible picture, however I still think this is the best way to display flies from a group or collection. This is a shadow box collection of some of my flies and others in my office...
LOL...No won't be up last weekend or this weekend. Headed to North GA the 6,7,and 8th of Feb to wrestle some giants from private trophy water. Will hopefully have pics to post when I return.
Will...
Yup! That must have been you. Was also a black suburban, grey station wagon and a dodge truck of some sort. Busy day there. Most of the guys were fishing down stream and my cousin and I went straight...
Warren,
By any chance were you up on the Duck at the Mill on or around the Saturday after Christmas? I started to ask if it was you but did not want to intrude.

That would be great. I hear you have a perfect new Sage Bass rod just for such an occasion! :)
Have been in at Tim's several times over the past few months but can't seem to catch you there....
I am so ready for the Spring Smallmouth fishing I can hardly wait. These cold, wet, high and muddy water creek days are killing me. So here's a little sample of what it can be on an afternoon to warm...
I think I have posted this picture before. Have been able to find some rather large bluegills over the last few years here in AL. But never really measured them. Too large to hold with one hand and...
Saturday afternoon 1/24/09. Dam release schedule shut generation down at noon and were expected to turn back on around 6pm. Weather forecast called for 41 and howling cold winds from the north....
20' Wow I don't think I have ever had a B&A cast that took more than 6' to reach the pocket I wanted to hit. Hmmm....wondering if I was doing it all wrong now.
Of course I have been know to...
Sadly but somewhat humorous it was never left at the river!
My middle son had taken the rod apart, put the rod in the bottom of a rod case (2 wt 6' rod just kinda disappeared in that tube) and the...
The rod was found! And I have it back safely in my possession.:D
Thanks,
Good info. I have forwarded everything to the rep and will let the board know what they decide to do.
Looks like mid to late August trip.
Wade
Thanks everyone...I will let you know what they decide to do. Hopefully will get some good reports and pics back too.

:?: Need info PLEASE.
I have been approached by a large local company here in Alabama to provide information on where to go and who to fly fish with in Montana. 1 rep and 5 executives. Although I...
I started to put my 2 pennies in and BBW beat me too it. All the text books say if you approach a fish in the propoer position they are not going to be able to see you anyway. Keep low, no quick...
OK...Here goes nothing. I say go for it if you are feeling up too it. I have an outcast pontoon with dual bags in each chamber that sits above the water line and has a foot rail to keep from smacking...
Sometimes it can be a defect in the blank. Honestly would have to see a picture of the break to really determine. Could have been a stress fracture from shipping, store mishandling, etc... so many...
