I've been looking on web sites at some American wet flies. Can anyone recommend a book on them??

Whip finish all my flies with my hand. Only because when i bought a kit to start tying 3 years ago there was no whip finisher in it. Bought one a while back but can't get to grips with it.

If you just put foam on one side then it lets you see in the box witout opening it.

Thanks Ron we are lucky here with the hills and the lochs. The hook is a Grip 11801BL size 10. Slight longer shank to keep the hook gape clear from the muddler head.

No problem here just hang onto the extra. Mine will be flying their way over tomorrow.
Thanks lads. Would fish it when there's a wave on the loch. Pull it through the waves and it will bring trout up this style of fly and dabblers work a treat in a wave.
