I experimented last night and discovered that both the Scotty fly rod holder AND the Scotty spinning/casting rod holder will each hold both spinning AND fly rods.

With the rubber strap in place...

I have one of each...a Scotty fly rod holder, and a Scotty spinning/casting rod holder.
I'll try to check them tonight, to see if either will hold the other rod type. I'll get back to you, unless...
