Fishing the rivers and small ponds in central Kansas I probably use the roll cast 90% of the time. I got really frustrated catching limbs and weeds on the backcast so learning the roll cast became a...
I checked out the site and it looks that might be the bag I need to quickly sling on my motorcycle or throw in my truck. I am just getting back into fly fishing and I have my gear and equipment...
Our K-State geology professor in 1975 told us all about the Kansas Earthquake Belt----that was a real eye opener. Then he went on to discuss how we will be destroyed when Yellowstone eventually...
Heck, that fly is barely broken in---congrats to you and your fly.
Just tell your wife that your cigar smoking beer drinking buddy stopped by for a visit and you just didn't have the heart to put a stop to his dreadful behavior.
I visited Sportsmans Warehouse in Wichita last month. I was surprised how few customers were in the store. Even the Bass Pro Shop near Dallas was extremely slow. The employees were wondering when...
I'd like to find one of those old fishable steel fly rods, strip it down and use gun blue to refinish it. I know that may sound unusual but I'd sure like a rod the same color as my old Browning...
Wow!!!!! I've never had a bad experience like having an item put on layaway sold out from under my nose. I could possibly see a mistake happening but the unwillingness to make it good is extremely...
Okay, that was funny but I kind of expected the see the bike jerk the rod and reel out of his hands. If somebody hooked my Harley I'd be the proud owner of a skinned up rod and a burned out reel. ...
Hey HarleyBob------do you ride a bike to go fishing? My XL1200 Sportster is my main fly fishin' machine. I also have VTX 1800 for long distance campingfishing trips with my young son. The Harley...
I wear them for hunting, fishing and motorcycling. I never cared about style before and I won't start worrying about it now. If something works I'll use it.
We're heading out to La Crosse, Wisconsin in July. I don't know if there will be any fly fishing opportunities out there but I will bring along a combo fly/spinning rig just in case.
Good Luck and may you heal quickly.
Things have changed and I had to log in. I barely remembered my password. I checked the memberlist and at least I'm still on the books.
By the way-----Merry Christmas to you all!!!!!
I love it-----some bikers are known to carry flasks and wouldn't they be surprised to find out some fly fishing people do too. I'd carry one but I can't find one with a fly rod and motorcycle logo...
They'll eventually get free and pay off their debt to society by making dirty movies. People like that are hard to stop even with jail time and huge fines.
I've gotta agree. Don't call a sell an auction unless it's really an auction.
I've got two great fishing machines, a Honda VTX1800N (38-40 MPG) and a Harley XL1200 (46-48 MPG). I can carry any gear I need on either bike but the Harley is a much better off-road. The VTX...
I watched that crazy guy jump off a high cliff into a river in attempt to get away from a dangerous bear. I don't know about the rest of you but I would be looking for a way to climb down instead of...
Im very talented. I can smash an expensive pocket watch as quickly as I can waste a cheapie. I like pocket watches but they don't like me.
Very funny. You should write a children's book entitled "The Bat in the Hat". Bats are more interesting than cats so you'll make millions$$$$$$.
I usually carry a Redington Wayfarer 5pc in a four or five weight or a Cabela's Stowaway 5pc five weight on my motorcycle. I have a number of good travel rods but I seem to grab these most of the...
Very Cool 8) -------Thanks!!! :D

I was kind of wondering what kind of PATTERN you use to shoot them----full choke, improved modified or improved cylinder. :D I suppose a 10 ga. shotgun should do the job.
I wonder if Ducks...
