How old are you again? :)
Nice fly! I really like that! Could you do a FOTM? I need to tie a half dozen of those in cream and brown for the gulf, they look like a good crab imitation.

Hi fpcba, This was brought up over on the main board:

I used a size 20 when I tied the fly.
Thanks

I use a film canister to store my albolene as well as my Fuller's Earth mixture.
Great paint job! It looks very nice. Are you using Mustad 3366 hooks and the slip on foam popper bodies??
The woven fly looks amazing as does Davy's sets.
I have a few of Al Campbell's flies as well as Jim Hatch. All I need now is some of Oliver Edwards' and I'm all set.
Jared ask around the base, back when I use to guide a few years ago I know that groups of soldiers out of Lawton would visited the Lower Mountain Fork River every few months for fly fishing trips. ...
I like your new flies JJ and I hope '76 isn't considered vintage yet because I may be well past my prime now! The hackle I used was plain 'ol Med Light Dun Hen Neck hackle. I find it perfect for...

The hooks look close to the size of a TMC 20s to me but they're bronze. Here is a size 20 soft hackle on a TMC I just tied up:...
Perch and bream are the most common name for them in Oklahoma
I believe in luck. When I take a stream sample or catch an emerging insect, look at a rise and select the proper fly, all I'm doing is hedging my bet that I might catch a trout.
To me, if you...
