Perch,
Joni's "strike indicator" instructions are on her website. I have used it to play with, but I've not been on the boat long enough to play with it in real fishing situation.

I have not yet bought one, but will soon. If you get on their mailing list, they send you notice of sales. They have some pretty good prices when they sell their seconds.

I'm a beginner. I first tied flies--mostly poppers about twenty years ago. I got away from tying, buying my poppers--and for years that was all I used my fly rod for. I started learning how to...

Doug,
I had a family BBQ and two of my nieces started looking at the flies I was tying. I am working on hoppers, with a few crickets laying around. The two girls both about eleven thought the...
I'm mailing my flies out today.
I would like to do a spider.
I would like in, but I would like to think about what I want to tie.
Sagittarius62 that is great looking fly. I went to spinning site. Very cool. I took a weaving class in college, I don't remember getting into spinning.
I've used the black lab as a source. And I have a red ausie, he has very fine long hair that works well. I have left the cats alone for now, but maybe they will lose a little hair to the greater...
I would like in, but I am not a trout fisher. I mostly fish for bluegill and such. When I fish for trout I spin cast, I would like to use the fly rod to try for trout. I have fished fly rod for a...
I have been wondering the same thing. Early in May I was catching 6 or 7 inchers. I never fished for them before, so I didn't know how big they needed to be. I caught a bunch on crappie candy, I...
I got everything ready to ship. I went with a skein bugger. I will try to get in mail tomorrow. This was great fun! Thanks so much for the alpaca. I make a clouser with it and had a small LMB hit...
