I guess I should have added the story of my misadventure here. I got both sides (top and bottom) of my Fishcat wet yesterday and everything in the pockets.

Good idea, I use 2 large reflective dog collars for a belt when I walk in the early morning or evening.

Got my fishcat wet today, caught 5 trout I think and got numb toes.

Size and shape should just about fit. Some elastic cord to hold it in place, it should be good to go.

What I had in mind with the laundry basket was to only use about the bottom 2" or so. I was going to try and find one that was wrecked but still had a useable bottom.
