Thanks for the info Guys!
Thinking of building a new packable 3wt from 7' t0 8" and would like a 5pc. Any info out there on a blank with these specs? Cant really afford a Winston. Thanks!
This guy wanted to do some trading with me a while back. Glad I stayed clear of him. Very sad situation.
What's the price tag on a gem like this? Very nice!
Thanks for the info guys!
I want to replace my SA Nymph line on my TFO Pro 6wt. I'm looking at the RIO Gold and also the Hook & Hackle Rise. Any suggestions on the quality of either of these? Thanks!
Thanks for the info!
I really like that! Nice colors.
I need some info on the 3 or 4wt tiger eye blanks. As much as you can give me if you own one or have built. I am thinking of building a 7'6" to 8' 3 or 4wt. Thanks and God Bless!
Sage SP 8'9" 5pc. 5wt. Been in love with that rod ever since the first time I cast it. Only problem, it isn't mine.
This one was pretty laid back. Just kinda slid him up onto the bank. When I started to pick him up then he started twisting. I've caught Bowfin on the fly and they really put up a good fight!
Went looking for Bass and Gills but caught this instead. I love the camo on these fish!1098710988
Love this rod! Great work!
Thanks for the info Folks. Sounds like the ZXL should be my next rod. That is, unless Chicago(Mike) hates that 589-5 and decides to hand it over to me. :) Thanks and God Bless, James
My very favorite trout rod didn't even belong to me. It was my best friend's and was a Sage SP 5wt 5pc., I believe in 8'9" length. Even when I could cast a fly rod I could cast that one buttery...
I still have my rebuilt Montague Clear Lake for $155.00 shipped. Should be great for what you are needing without the large Boo price tag. Let me know if you are interested and I can send pics and...
I was kind of doubting that it was the correct fly for the container. Need to do some research to see if I can locate what the original Rio Grande King looks like. Guessing it's a wet fly. Thanks a...
Yea, I tie my own flies. Was just wondering if anyone had ever seen one in the plastic box like this. Thanks!
Just wondering if anyone had ever seen one of these. A friend of mine gave this one to me from her Dad's old tackle box. The spinner blade has Pflueger in tiny stamped letters.
I have a used TFO Pro(with Warranty Card) and a SA Nymph line I'd ship to you for $135. It will throw a double nymph rig and indicator very well. Have pics if you are interested. No pressure. James
Looks like Hook & Hackle still has them.
My favorite for bass is a #1 hook all bright yellow(marabou, chennile & hackle) bugger with silver/gold wire ribbing, gold bead head and pearl crystal flash in the tail. Call it "The Canary".
Please remove. Thanks
Great info Dunfly! Makes sense to me. James
Who would be best to purchase a Sevier blank from? Sevier direct?
