4 versus 2 piece
A 4-piece rod only has 2 more wraps than a 2-piece rod, and they're easier because there are no guides involved. I would not make a decision because of these extra wraps. Build the rod you think...

Actually, I used the Tradition 5 weight on the Madison River last August. My wife likes it better than the $250 blank she has on her rod.
