Maybe Warren, but I have enough other irons in the fire to keep me busy right now. We will see how it works out at the Michigan Fish In. I may be up to building 1 or 2 for some friends if they are...
Been furling glow in the dark thread for over 5 years. The guys that fish the hex hatch in Michigan love em. I sell quite a few each year.

I like the slower action rods, especially bamboo. I will be fishing for trout and panfish with the rod on medium size midwestern rivers and a few farm ponds.
Hope that helps
Brad
Thinking about taking the plunge off the deep end into Tenkara. What action would make a good starter rod?
TIA,

Over a thousand views and no one is coming to the Fish In? May I ask why?

MacAndrews was visiting his Irish cousin, O'Bannon. While there he decided to do a bit of fishing. As he sat there one afternoon, his cousin walked by.
"What are ye doing?" asked O'Bannon.

Was thinking about a trip to NY this fall for a little fishing/leaf peeping. Not anymore. Will be headed to Wyoming and South Dakota though.

I have to disagree with Warren on the thread leaders. The material that I use does not rot or mildew. Just crank it on the reel after a days fishing and no worries. Ray, if you want to try one, PM me...

Welcome to the Dark Side  Nice build, especially for the first one! You will "need" the 10 ft 4 wt, then you will "need" a 7ft 3 wt for the smaller streams, then you will "need" a 9...
