Wow those are some beauties - I have a question about your PT flashback - is your rib chartreuse? I have tried standard copper and wire and the copper always outperforms the red. Just curious.

I too have by passed the mosquito - I will go to my Adams and Griffiths gnat most of the time - and they work amazingly
I like the thread body, I bet in the water that is just going to be perfect.
EBAY special :(
Wow, it takes a macro shot to see how dull the hooks of my flies are. There is no herl on the fly at all. I'm not sure if you were joking about it being a disco brassie, but I like the name. I...
My buddy's son found a few of these on the bank of the river we were fishing. I tied one on and it was the most effective fly that day. I have tied a whole bunch in copper and chartreuse. The head...
I just went fishing with a buddy and he had one of the Olympus waterproof point and shoots - he loves it.
Hey thanks for everyone's 2 cents here. Jim, I sent an email to F&G and this is their response:
Paul: You are correct. As long as only one line is in the water at a time you may possess as many...
I love it!
How did it taste? I'm kiddin! So I guess the answer here, Jim, is to always check your batteries. ;)
This is from the week before last. After a beautiful but crowded Sat, I tried a different spot on Sunday - never saw another person!:D

About 10 years ago I stopped buying shoes of any kind that I hadn't actually put on my feet. Once upon a time I could wear cool shoes that hurt like hell and I would live with it. Now, they have to...
Yeah, Jim, I'm just not sure. Carrying a rod and fishing a rod are two very different things - I'm not sure how to interpret it.
Especially in times like these it would be great to get the low down here. I like this thread alot. Maybe we should have a spread sheet showing us the different product categories and the products...
Someone asked me about the regulations for 2 rods here in California and I couldn't find a straight answer. You need a stamp to fish a second rod, that is clear. You cannot fish a second rod at all...
LOL - I'm thinking of building a 2 weight - one of those 6 1/2 foot baston forcast blanks.
Well, this came out of the San Gabriel Mountains a few miles up from where I understand some stocking takes place. I can't give you a positive ID on the trout though.

I really need a 3 weight! It's nice to know that with a little bush whacking and boulder hopping you can find these beauties just...
My b-day is coming up and I'm looking for something of outstanding quality that is as close to free as it can get. Seriously, any opinions on small rods out there?
Awesome!!!
I think fly fisher-people like many other folk have our superstitions. I've heard it said that fishing with confidence makes all the difference. Does this mean that the same fly fished the same way...
Wow, up until last year I would have laughed at that - My eyes are going - great gadget - where from?
Love those places - the bead in question came from Michaels. I also like the odd looks I get from the women in the store, I'm pretty sure I've been the only guy in the store whenever I've stopped in.
I bought these beads thinking they were black. they looked black in the store. I kind of like the fly. do you think the green will put off the fish? Maybe it will up the yummyness.
...
yeah, nice meeting you too - always nice to put a face to a post... I agree with some of the other folks here, that combo tool looks like the way to go!
