i'd go ahead and buy pre-made dubbing in the bags. you get more dubbing for the same price, its fast and easier, and your wife wont be angry 8)

i was at walmart yesterday and got a roll of this stuff called disco yarn! that stuff is amazing. very easy to work with, EXTREMELY good action in the water...makes a nice minnow immitation. and its...
hey neat fly normand! did that foam come like that or did you color it?

i havent gotten around to fishing it yet but when you cath fish, does the fluff ever come off the chenille?

this is a realy great thread!!!!
o and my carpet dubbing didnt work! :(
it wouldnt go on the thread right. it was too stiff so it just flaked off and didnt adhere. i suppose it might work...
man i wish there was a place around here where i could get fur scraps....:(
its synthetic. i already made it. i couldnt find the blender (think we might have thrown it out) so i just threw the fibers in a jar and shook it several times. there were some pieces that i forgot...
im gonna use the fibers from my white/tan berber carpet. we got a couple hugenormous rolls left over from when we finished our basement. ill use them to make some nice dubbin!!! will it float or sink?
TRY SIZE 2 OR 4 CLOUSERS!!!! CHART/WHITE, BROWN/WHITE, OLIVE/YELLOW!!!
i think it is like the thing they taught you in geometry. all squares are rectangles but not all rectangles are squares. in fly fishing terms....all flies are lures, but not all lures are flies.
wooooo green font!!!! but anyways....i was using 6 pound test line tying a trilene knot thru the eye of a size 6 hook no problem. youre very correct about the descent rate. i was expecting it to sink...
WHOA!!!!! wow your really close!!! well....i was fishing a size 6 brown and white chlouser with olive/chartruse flashabou accent. i was fishing on the pax river naval air station. there are five...
i went out w/ my dad and we were using some clouser minnows. we caught 10 fish on them!!! six largemouths and 4 crappies!! great day. we were using a brown adn white clouser w/ golden olive flashabou...

i tie a few waxworm flies for the panfish! i just wrap a rubberband up the hook shank one layer and that it!
