That is probably the iso-butane used as a propellant. Is that new ride letting you down already. You should have know better they build those things in lower Alabama.

This is obviously a slick group. I have had a pound can of avionic's grease for about 30 years, works great.
When metal is rubbing against metal, some type of lubrication is usually a good idea. There may be some exceptions and oil may not always be the lub of choice, but it doesn't usually hurt to wipe...
