Release to Crisco lake
Never caught one that had a smell to it. My problem is the guy in the canoe with me landing it, he is scared of the teeth.
I am saving up for the Cabela's CGT 7' 3wt fiberglass rod. Just the one I have decided that I want. But there are a lot of very good 3wt rods on the market.
I leave Kansas on the 18th for 6 days of fishing around Redstone/Carbondale area. Can anyone give me a current report for any of the rivers in that area. Thanks.
I cut the stop off, loop line through and pull tight. I love them.
I have the same one. I plan to use it for duck hunting also. I mounted a Garmin Echo 150 to the left of the rod holder and am working on a crate for the back. I have had mine out 2 times so far and...
Nice fish. I just got a kayak 2 weeks ago taking camping with the family this weekend planning to do a bit of fishing in it. What make and model did you buy?
I can't take this warm weather, I am taking a truck load of gear and heading out. Might fish for crappie, gills or even try for carp.
I have the 7'6" 5/6 and use a 6 wt line and it cast great. It has been my go to rod so far this year. Caught bass up to about 2# and lots of crappie and gills and have been very happy so far. Next is...
I read that in a book by John Gierach, just thought it was kinda funny.
What you think of my new signature.:D
I am with quivira kid, it they are placed in a bucket, basket or cooler future isn't too good for them. But all my gill flies are barbless.
This would be a reel I would have to buy.
The backstabber is a great pattern, I carry them in orange, purple and black. Carp suck them right up.
Just got back from watching my son play in his first D-1 college football game for the MIZZOU Tigers. I could not be any more proud of him and what he has done so far with his life. Not a lot of...
Finally some rain and cooler temps here, time to get back to fishing.
Not nice Betty............I am just jealous.
My go to colors are purple followed by black both tied with a small amount of flash in them.
Very nice looking rod. Good job.
Yes that is my backing only got about 10 yards into it, but is nice to hear that Lamson scream. You ready to go catch a few Larry?
Nice job. I have been catching all my carp this year on woolybuggers in blk or purple and a pattern I found called the backstabber.
Got out for a few hours on Saturday with my 8wt.8516851785158514
I think we need to get the stocking schedule and go play with the little channel cats on a thursday night. The pics of Betty and a catfish would be great.
Great pics, I love to fish flooded grass like that, and the carp love to feed in it.
Olathe lake can be good at times Cedar lake not so much. There are other places here local to catch fish depending on what you want to fish for that can be much better. Are you going to be in the are...
