That last fly (or a hex nymph very similar to it) is what I've caught most of my carp on. Casting & retrieving, or under an indicator, or vertical jigging have all worked especially in still waters....

Ha ha! The math is making my head spin....but...what did you catch the other 0.1% on? Or...did you catch one carp that was missing 1/10th of its body? :p

Interesting...and great pics! I was recently talking with fly angler who catches carp on egg patterns....they seem to work well for him all year long.
