Midstream,
I will be driving up from Bryan (3 hours). Not attending the seminars but look forward to the tying demonstrations and other such stuff.

That is who I was trying to remember!]

Coach,
Try looking at E-Bay as well. There is a US Builder that will often sell blank over there in the 150-200 range. Attaching a ferrul is not that difficult to do oneself.

I went to the local Wal-Mart today. They actually had a few of the boxes (I have been looking at many Wal-Marts with no luck). The best thing is that they were only 50 cents each! What a deal!
Helicopsyche - Adam,
Does this mean that you are about to embark on a walk to the ..... Dark Side?????????? Rod Building that is.
Try it, you'll like it! Only, you can't just make one.

Yaf,
Could you spare about 8-10 smaller ones with splits? I am looking for soem to use on a rod that I am building?

OK, so I went to Three Wal-Marts in Houston and Bryan (where I live, 1 1/2 hours from Houston). No boxes to be found. I asked at my local W to see if they could order them, they said they could...
I use the tiny rubber bands that the orthodontist use on my kids.
I have caught them on a red leech, olive bunnt leech and olive wooly.
