I avoided that landmine by picking a TS SJ worm. Turned out to be a great variation on a pattern I've used and tied the same way for quite some time....

I'll do the TS san juan worm. I tie a regular san juan that's even simpler, but I'll go with al's version. i'll use a scarlet red ultra chenille.
