Might work eric.. but I think I'll still just coil the line on the bank. It would take both hands to hold the rod in the air. ;)

Wind's been blowing a week. Today the temps are in the 40s with gusts to 50. If I were to coil my line up on the bank, tie my fly to a rock... and throw it - would I still be "fly fishing"? ...
