I have a new in Cordoba covered tube Albright EXS 1004-4 for sale.
The rod is a 10' 4wt 4 piece. Perfect for Nymphing or Czech Nymphing.
Also a perfect Float tube rod.
It is brand new, never used...
I just give it 2 or 3 quick tugs, after a cast or 2 it's fine
Your 8wt rod will easilly handle a bonefish. For the amount of fishing in salt that you do..keep you rod, it's fine.
I put 50 yards of one color on first then switch to another color. That way I know I'm getting close to running out before I have to turn & chase!

Flies have no copyright.
However, you must pay excise tax(10%), you must also charge state sales tax and will need a state tax number, and lastly you must claim all monies received as taxable...
Every fly I tie is a crappy fly
Step 1) Sue the SOB in small claims court.
Step 2) post his info everywhere to protect others!!!
Toss up between my Payne 98, and my 7' 4wt Kusse quad.
I admire your confidence. That's a serious net!!
The Castwell knot can't be that old. The knot is best used on plastic lines.
I've used similar set-ups in saltwater. You must use a stripping basket!! 100' of running line gets very tangled very fast. I've never used it with a poly leader. My shooting heads are all sinking so...
My Kusse 7' 4wt Quad. Easily my favorite rod.
