That my wife would be free of pain.
Hello Charlaine. I always enjoyed reading your posts. :)

The FlyLogic FLP is a winner. You might find a Hardy either side of a hundred bucks. I have and they are great reels. Talking about the small sized Marquis or System (SciANglers), and the LRH.
BLessings for all good things to you Jerry. I know what kind of man you are and it makes me smile.
Here you can see several of them. THey are on the menu top left of page: http://flyreelmania.free.fr/
Jerry is set up with reels, lines, and backing. Go on you all for doing the rod. :)
I would gladly skew these figures on the high end but the chances are nil. Fly fishing pays me in ways the dollar never can. Now that is precious.
blessings to you for all good things
The soft hackle. It is truly a versatile fly.
I found some ice fishing line on sale and it works just fine and it was inexpensive.
fish like that in water so close. Wow, you are one blessed fly fisher. Cheers!
Wow, special to have found those. Hope they get their fill of wild turkeys.

Have some vintage Martin reels, Hardy as well, J.W. Young reels,Meisselbach and several others

Companies need new offerings to tempt buyers. That's my thought.
Thanks for this. I wish I had the time and money to travel the country and see things like the driftless country. What a neat place to fish.
Now THAT GUY is a real physician. Hooray for him.
My stoneflies look like alien mutants. I have given up on those. I could read a book in the time it takes me to get one looking half right.
Usually do what you do, vicrider. I think fish are less leader shy then we might think. I go with five or six feet of tippet. For really clear water I will add a foot or two more.
only happened to me once and it was exasperating at best, but that was a long time ago. Thanks for the link. It's most useful.
Buying a new rod is a heck of a lot of fun. Hopefully you will be posting photos of your catch with your new rod. Good fishing to you. :) I have a couple 8 wt. rods, a FLyLogic and a J.P. Ross,...
If the "crack" is on the thread coating you could cover it with nail polish or mix a tiny spot of epoxy. If the crack is on the rod the look at it under magnification. Chances are that it's just...
