FWIW - I get much better results e-mailing Orvis versus calling them when I have some kind of weird request. To be honest, they have NEVER let me down with an info or part request if the part is...
This is the reply from Orvis regarding an inquiry I made about my Hardy made CFOIII:
"The CFO III is 3" in diameter, 31/4 oz. and has a capacity for Weight Forward 4 Weight Floating Line

If you purchased your Folstaf new in the last five or more years and bought one still in the package folded up, they mention wax in the instructions and include a small piece of wax with the staff...
I tried everything because I really wanted it to work for me. Nothing did so I gave up on it. The O-rings were just too temperamental. I now use two Renzetti applicator bottles stuck with poster...

I use thinning sheers when I cut synthetic hair. It gives the fibers a raggy, uneven "natural" appearance. The best results I've got are from inexpensive coarse thinning sheers, not the fine fly...
FWIW - I went ahead and ordered some of these just for $#!+$ and giggles. The worst case I am out $8 and I catch a bat; best case they help a bit which is better than nothing.

I was afraid you'd chime in with encouragement like that! ;)
I was on the upper-upper reaches of Kettle one day with sleeves DOWN and there were at least 50 on my arms & hands! Then one...
