a marabou leech.
size 10 hook with a small black bead head.
Tie on black marabou for tail about 3/4 shank length. Twist marabou into a rope and then spiral thread around it to reinforce it....

Got out for the first time in a month on a Saturday morning.

Had a blast on gills. Brought home 55 and returned 4 that were near 12"
long. Lost several as I tried to swing them into the canoe...
