The sequin idea is great!! Tied some Clouser's with sequines behind the eye and caught my biggest flyrod LM Bass Sat. About 6lbs and got a pic too. Thanks for sharing the idea.

Feathercraft has them. Some of the sponsors may have them here as well.

Thanks so much to all. My questions always get wonderful and insightful responses here.
Much appreciated,

Simply awesome set of flies. Boy, do I have a lot to learn. Mikey, thanks for hosting.

Thanks to all, I'm on slow dial-up so I didn't do a search. I will definitely check out the late Al Campbell's instructions and the Rainey's stuff sounds like what I was looking for.

I have spring fever in the worst way and want to tie some poppers for the pond. Does anyone know a good source for cork and foam in cylinder form?? Wally World?? Craft stores??
Thanks in advance,...

Mine are finished and will be mailed within the week.

I will tie a Poly-Humpy, by the way. Poly yarn for the hump and wings.
Looking forward to it,

I'll get in this one if that's okay. Haven't done a swap in a while, this one sounds like fun.

I'll play. Mike runs a good swap. Probably will be a basic run -of-the-mill SJW but they work on DH trout in Georgia.
Tight lines,

Neat little rods, imho.

Gracias, mrp. Will do.

Hook and Hackle is awesome but I haven't seen these blanks in their catalog. Does anyone know who a good supplier would be?? After the 2wt, I'm kinda hankering for an even lighter rod for...
No expert here but I've been using the fine elastic string that Al Campbell suggests in the tutorials. Tied tight it holds fine, allows adjustment of the guide and when snipped off, leaves no...
That is a good book. Got it for about $5 at the local bargain bookstore and was very pleased with the purchase.

I swapped patterns guys, my main bluegill fly is a "Bully's Bluegill Spider". 8 are tied and will be mailed later this morning.
bd
Mine will be mailed tomorrow.

Jack, you'll be in my neighborhood. Helen, Georgia has a lot of what you are looking for. Check with Unicoi Outfitters for more info. Their phone number is on their website ...
I have one for Appalachian Brookies and bluegills, I love it.

Thanks, 24mb, I will definitely check those out.
Thanks to you too, RT, I did not mean to exclude fishing in the park. We would be open to anything, a day of drift fishing has been mentioned as...
