That's the one I started out with and it has served me very well. It's specifically wieghted for panfish/trout. I'll second that recomendation.
Very helpfull, thank you all.
Yall have been giving me a lot to try out, this is very helpful. But a few clarifications...
When I go fishing it's a relatively small river water about 2-3' deep. I would be open to trying...
This is exactly why I'd like to learn how to nyphm. It's frustrating to think just how much activity is going on just beneath the surface that I can't take part in right now.
Great, just another year and I can get back out and try it :)
I just came back from camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains with my siblings for a few days. Since I was with my family fishing wasn't the main focus, seeing as I'm the only angler in the family. This...
All too true. But we get to fish all spring... and summer... and fall... and if you are really feeling the urge you can fish the winter too. But summer can really kill.
My personal opinion is there were never any fish to begin with.

This whole site is filled with time-wasting, hillarious, amazing, and sometimes just plain wierd videos. This one is pretty funny.
Can we not talk about this. It feels really wierd. It's like driving a 2011 car in 2010.
Thank you Steven, that says most of it.
But as a current boy scout I have had training in this area, and there are just a few more things to touch on.
First, I want to stress the importance of...
Hmmm, makes me wonder. Why don't I have an infraction box:confused::rolleyes::):Dhttp://gfx2.hotmail.com/mail/w4/pr01/ltr/emoticons/smile_angel.gif
Very buggy...
But I noticed something. Is the fly as old as the date on the picture?
Hmmmm, are you handing out free deer hair?
I've hypnotized a chicken before, it's so much fun! I have an urge to go out to the coop now.

Bluegill 222,
Where did you get that brown line? I've heard that darker lines are more productive scince they are more subtle in some situations, especialy trout fishing.
Now that sounds more like what you meant in your first post. Belated but none the less appreceated. Thank you.
I can't wait to see the pics.
Fishin' squirt,
