Fished St Marks river Friday, trout in the rivers after the last cold snap. Caught some on a crafty shrimp type pattern. Also red fish are in there. clouser will work, experiment with colors....

I agree with tailing loop, a chartreuse over white clouser will take more kinds of fish over a wider geographic area than any other. A second choice would be a black wooly bugger. Both are successful...

Good picks for trout, but for species diversity a little limited. Might consider locations that offer salt and warm water opportunities.

My trout fly's are far from perfect, some might judge embarrassing, but they generally do pretty darn well. Fresh and salt also do OK. Ever notice that fly's that get ratted up after a few catches...
