A little advise if you do chose to start another swap box - don't allow really new FAOL members to participate. I think that the last one was snatched by a new member. It's really easy for someone...
RIP Swap Box wherever you are - sniff...
You can train them to not touch the stuff. My lab chewed up a few feathers when we got him. I scolded him each time I caught him with a feather. After three or four times he learned to not touch...
I have flown many times with large lures and flies in my checked luggage with no problems. As for the TSA rules, they are interpretated very differently by all TSA security agents. And don't think...
No problem. Thanks again for hosting such great swaps.
For anyone thinking about joining the new Beginner's group fly swaps, it is a invaluable tool for learning new aspects of flytying that you...
Weren't my flies good enough for gradution? I can do some extra credit if that would help. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/wink.gif

I have gotten two issues of Southwestern Fly Fishing magazine, and it is a really good magazine. TX is a little bit of a strech to being southwest, but every issue has an article on someplace in...
I just got a new Renzetti Traveler too. I like it alot, but am already modifying it some to fit my tying style - longer vise shaft, adding a material clip, etc....Minor things, but necessary when...
None on Scott rods or Sage but my TFO has them.

I just got a REnzetti Traveler for Christmas. I am still getting used to tying with it.
I was just tying a dozen pike flies that required the hook shank to have Larva lace wrapped up the entire...
I have use an Ultra 4 on my 4wt. It works fine. To me is seems to be just as good a line as any others out there (but that's not saying too much).
Jann's Netcraft has 36 rpm motors for something like $12.95. It a bit faster than you are looking for, but it might work.
I think this croc could eat stumpy for lunch. Take a look.
