My first choice would be a Bogdon, but it's hard to beat a Bill Ballan for the price! ...
#22 Griffith's Gnat is my go to small fly
Snook rule!!
My copy is from 1952, I'll check to see if the fly your looking for is in my copy.
A married man was having an affair with his secretary.
One day, their passions overcame them and they took off for her house, where they made passionate love all afternoon. Exhausted from the wild...
Your 45, it's time to visit an Optometrist.
You will need a 9' 9wt rod with full sinking line (I prefer 350gr) and a reel that holds 200+ yards of backing. A stripping basket and to get started a few Clousers and deceivers.
Flies have no copyright.
However, you must pay excise tax(10%), you must also charge state sales tax and will need a state tax number, and lastly you must claim all monies received as taxable...
Every fly I tie is a crappy fly
Step 1) Sue the SOB in small claims court.
Step 2) post his info everywhere to protect others!!!
Toss up between my Payne 98, and my 7' 4wt Kusse quad.
I admire your confidence. That's a serious net!!
The Castwell knot can't be that old. The knot is best used on plastic lines.
I've used similar set-ups in saltwater. You must use a stripping basket!! 100' of running line gets very tangled very fast. I've never used it with a poly leader. My shooting heads are all sinking so...

Greg, I agree. Balance the rod to how is is used in fishing. However in the case the way a 10' nymph rod is fished is with no more then 10' of line out. The rod is not cast in the traditional manor.
Greg, the only problem with your solution is that nobody uses 30' of line to high stick with a 10' rod.
Just hold the rod at the front end of the grip, in front of the balance point. It's easier to high stick that way too!
