I use them quite a bit in the UP of Michigan. The brookies can't leave them alone. Not a bad fly for the PM during late August either. I tie them with either the calf hair or z-lon.

Its a good thing that we have gotten some snow. Hopefully, we get some stain to the rivers. I was up there last weekend and they were still gin clear. Very spooky fish to say the least.
