I still have two others even with my son absconding with the 7.5' for 4wt..
I just picked up two bamboo rods so I can't push it too much.

it's seldom about need. Go ahead and buy it.my GL3 was one of my favorite small streamer rods. My son started fishing it about 10 years ago and he wont give it back. Nice rod for the price....
