In the majority of cases the order is as follows - I visualise a pattern, tie it/them, and a name comes at the end.
In a much smaller number of cases I may have a name I like, and a pattern...

I named it on account of the dyed blue quill (of course :cool:), as also referencing a bit of a cult movie with that name (released 1971).
