Ralph, I recently picked up the 7/8 and can't wait to get it out! Waiting right now on the reel I paired it up with to get here....
It could be..... What feathers? If wing slips, Canada or whitefront feathers would work just fine in my opinion....

I think there is a group/type of people that take tying flies way too seriously.....
They're sure nice, but from what I've seen at a couple different locations in the last few years, don't get too excited about the fly fishing selection.
I bet that thing would be FUN! Peacock and black, and chartreuse.... Both in size 12-ish would be lights out here I bet!
