Tenkara is a tool, use it the way you like. Don't worry about what others think or do. It's your rod so use it as you wish.

Glad to see that more and more companys are getting involved in the Tenkara market. It must mean that they think this form of fly fishing is here to stay and not just a passing fad :)
"ez keepers" work for me, You just have to give the line a stretch before use :)
When I Nymph fish it's a Pheasant Tail and when using a dry, it's a Parachute Adams, They are my go to flies :)
A piece of PVC pipe and two cap ends will suffice as a hardcase for any Tenkara rod and will cost you very little :)
The first trout I ever caught was on a Prince Nymph and I do like the idea of the Prince Charming :)
