You're probably looking for "wine" Ultra Wire. I have it available in all sizes but only x-tra small is in stock. It will take less than a week to get it (next restocking order) if you want another...
It is very good hackle Nick. Priced good too. I knew it was not a China product but was confused about the email address given to me as Ewing's. Didn't mean to incite a political controversy.

Thanks for the info. I got them. Apparently the URL I had was incorrect. Ed.
I fish beadheads most effectively in riffles where I can feed out the line in the current. I have watched the fly as it moved from rock to rock and it appeared to grab the rocks momentary. I feed...

LOL... Your post is a pleasure to read. Don't be disappointed. The "UV" will not glow in the dark. It is just a color description. Great looking stuff. Ed.
I know your pain. :-) Problem is, I don't know the answer. There are a lot of different emerger or larva patterns and some, with the same name, may be tied with many different materials. I dopn't...

Q2. No... You could, but...

There is a species of peacock that genetically produces bronzed herl but I don't recall the name.
As for UV... It doesn't bronze as well as the natural stuff but it does bronze in sunlight. It...
Now I know why they call you Eight Thumbs. Ed
Hi Ray. By Ligas, do you mean his Scintilla? That is still available.
I have a big selection of Seal-Ex I bought from Orvis about 12 years ago but not sure where you can get it now. May be the...
You likely have UV protection on your glass windows. It will not work unless it gets exposure to the UV rays. Most windows, homes and cars, are UV treated and you probably don't know it. Ed.
Thanks Buddy. I've never seen or heard of "bead" shops. Thought I'd been around civilization but apparently not. Been stuck in the mountains too long. :-) Ed.
I haven't dyed in several years but when I did I was quite satisfied with Jacquard Acid Dyes. Yes... Black is a pain. I have had to dye black twice but not after learning to let the feathers or...
Buddy... I'd like to know where you found them, and for under $10.00? I searched before buying and wasn't able to find one like the locking tweezers (pictured). All I could find is those sticky...
Some tools just lay around unused but this is one (Bead Nabber) I rely on now and then... Ed.
