My son will be going to URI next year (fall 2008) hopefully I will be spending a little time up there and maybe someone could direct to an area that has some trout fishing. Never did any salt water...

Thanks for all your replies, I went with one from LL Bean for $50. I also use a milk crate but when traveling back and forth when friends drive, it saves on room.
