How about an address? In case we are inclined to help.
Hope that you are able to get the proper size for your spools. Do they still make STH cassette reels. I have had mine many years and use it to fish at Pyramid Lake in Nevada. Sounds like a DIY...
Yes, that is measuring a POP 3 plastic spool diameter --- 3.5 inches. The reel diameter is 3.8 inches.
Let me know if I can give you any more info.
Dick
My POP3 is 3.5 inches. I don't have a POP 2.
Hope this helps.

John -- Thanks for the suggestions. I have kept steady pressure on the fish and the river flow also puts tension on the rod. I will pay more attention next time I have a fish on. The last two trips...
It hit me too. The few mess things up for the rest of us. What a shame.

Great info, really appreciated. Like I said I am just venturing into tenkara. Your rigging sounds like it would work around here.
Thanks for letting us know how you rigged your rod. I am just starting to try a little tenkara fishing.

LDR = "The big one that got away"---commonly known as long distance release.
hap,
Do you have more LDR's with the scud hooks? One day I have as many LDR's as fish to hand, then other days able to land more than LDR.
Guess I shouldn't complain as long as I get the...
Just ordered some Firehole Sticks. Check out their site, glad I did.
Thx for pointing me to Firehole Sticks, they do look like what I was looking for. I had never heard of them.
Thanks John, i'll tie up a couple and see how they look.
Thanks for the link and suggestions. I have been tying on Umpqua C300BL and TMC 2499 SP-BLB. I like the hooks but would like a little longer shank to have a little more abdomen on the fly. So far the...
