There was a great article on fishing the Jackson River in the February issue of "Fly Fisherman" which included places to fish and tips on what to fish.
Tail waters are fishable this time of year....
How about the North River just outside of Staunton.A friend and I fished the DH section and did pretty well.
The fishing would be for small mouth bass on moving water. Any rapids would be minor in the I to II range. Some of it could also be on ponds of medium size and some decent size trout streams.
Does anyone here have any experience with pontoon boats. I am considering getting one and wanting to know what others think and what their recommendations might be.

I guess this means that people that fly fish like to get up early and are checking to see what everyone is doing before they leave on another adventure. However, I'm a little surprised as well.
