You might be applying the 3rd. & 4th. wrap toward the wing not on top of the previous wraps.
Make sure the remaining wraps are toward the eye.

Keep with it, I try to tie a couple of flies a day just to keep my fingers educated. All of them a going to catch fish!!!!!
