Yea thanks man
Yea they are pretty nice alan
Oh soo many options. I think a Cree would be awesome. I also have a couple prime India rooster capes in some of the odd colors, sometimes they are nice to add as a second hackle to give a different...
Great ideas. Still undecided... Saddles are a good idea too, I bought a 100 pack once and they are nice to tie with. The wheels are kind of turning with maybe trying to dye some feathers from the...
I never thought about coloring the hackle... Good idea
Oh sorry yes I've got a natural grizzly cape as well
So I got the itch to buy another cape, I currently have black, cream, brown, ginger, medium dun. Besides those colors what should be my next color purchase. I really like some of the olive grizzly...
Nicely done, thanks for showing that I'll have to give it a try
Lol let me know of that comes through, it's from my I phone, not sure how to rotate picture
Attempt at attaching picture..
Just to give an update... Picked up a pack of synthetic quills in the Adams color. I think hareline makes them if I remember correctly. Tied 2 size 12 Adams last night with them. Over all I would...

Wanting to use these for dry flies, has anyone tried them?? I think hareline makes them

Neat fly, great pics
Great pics, I've been trying to master turkey biots. I think they look great, come in a lot of colors and are cheap
Neat fly Scott
Do you all prefer one with a magnifier? Or do you rarely find it usefull?
You know looking at the fly again I would have to agree, I don't see why this couldn't pass as a mayfly imitation as well. We all have our theories and beliefs about what a fish sees and what...
I tie all mine with spikey squarril dubbing. They look great and work great too. I don't put it in a loop like yours but might start, love the buggy look. I have caught some super selective trout on...
Just bought some of these to try out, thanks for the suggestion
Thanks for the replies so far, I like the look of Brian silveys pattern, may have to give it a go
I have been tying a pupa pattern and can't come up with a material that I like to represent the wing buds of the caddis pupa. It's the missing piece of the puzzle for me. Any suggestions on...
Thanks for the replies. I'm anxious for spring to start experimenting. Just grabbed syl nemes book the soft hackle addict from the library last night.
