As other stated the road noise is there but not overwhelming. The wind does blow up the river quite a bit. Also go visit the hot springs which is pretty close. http://www.chicohotsprings.com/

I have been doing both for the last 8 years. Flyfish on the stillwaters and some for Steelhead and throw some gear for steelhead. It is all fun.
