Not by much, Rick. Two (maybe three good enough) as of this morning. Now I am having trouble keeping the moose in place after finishing the fly. Frustrating to come to the end, take the fly out of the vice and mount it in a electric clip so I can glue up the tail only to see the thread having cone undone on the tail tip. :(
I just hope they'll fish and not explode with the first cast! (Actually, has been fun. I have been tying the easy stuff...:D)

For everyone having trouble with extended bodies, Davy McPhail has an outstanding method for making foam mayfly bodies. It is at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgDgELAo0sw. It is for a Spent Gnat, but it will work for any mayfly pattern.

I don't see sjo on the list. Is he still with us?
Texfly has rejoined our swap, so everyone needs to tie one extra fly.
I am a little confused by the list. Let me make sure I have this right. Swappers currently on board:
1. Gigmaster
2. gmac209
3. RickZ
4. sjo
5. billhouk
6. IcemanXXXV
7. texfly
8. and one extra
So that makes a total of eight flies for everyone to tie. Did I miss anyone?
This is great. 4 more and we'll be back up to a full crew.

Thanks for the list! I was trying to figure out how many to tie. I think I almost have this extended body thing down. Greatfully, I'm not sure we have mayflies here in Indiana so I'll never have to tie them again!
Finished up Thrusday evening. gmac209, flies will be in the mail Friday. Thanks for an great challenge!!

OK, flies are not in the mail. Turns out I live inSpeedway, Indiana and there is some kind of automobile race qualifications going on this week-end. That means it's not possible to get to the post office until Monday.

Not brave enough for photos on this one. But, they are actually in the mail. These are fishing flies, no shadow box candy here.
