My favorite saltwater fishing has been for false albacore at Cape Lookout; taken a few trips to Florida, caught some fish and had fun, but the alberts will always be my #1 choice in the salt (unless I manage a trip to Baja some day!!).

I fish the RI and Mass. coast, mostly RI though with the fly. I find the challenge more fun than just throwing out a piece of wood in search of the elusive "ole pajamas". rel1

Moved to NE Florida (Fernandina Beach) about a year ago and starting to get back fishing again - learning saltwater since I'm surrounded by it. Mainly Redfish and Trout but hope to fish for Pompano on the beach when the water warms up.

A bit late responding but I'm new to saltwater fishing. I'll be going for bonefish in Cozumel starting March 30 returning April 14. On my return I plan to spend time on the Eastern Shore and the Chesapeake bay learning my way around. If I have anything to report, as I learn, I won't be shy.

NC coast primarily but make at least an annual trip to the Keys and southeast coast of Florida. Favorite at home are the albies with drum a close second. Overall favorite is probably snook in the mangroves.
