Some steelhead flies
Just working on some eggs and nymphs for a Steelhead trip I leave for Friday morning. Eggs are mostly sucker spawn style. And the nymphs are stones and a slight variation of a hare ear which usually does the trick for the Steelhead in the Au Sable.

Nice flies Steve. I smiled when I saw the Hancock Fabric yardstick on the edge of your desk. I am sure Mr. L. D. Hancock would smile if he saw that. Hancock Fabric has been based in Tupelo, MS ever since it started in his garage. He was a great citizen and contributed much to the success of the local school system, which is the best in the state. His foundation continues to support the community.
Pardon the aside, I hope you have a great time and pull all the kinks out of your lines.

Steve,
What's the thorax on the Hare's Ear? Looks like Ice Dub. Very nice flies; hope those Steelhead eat a bunch of them. Have a great trip.
Regards,
Scott
