Idaho Fish-In
JC picked up the Sage Casting Analyzer yesterday, so anyone wishing to compare their casting to the 'model' can do that at the fish in. It's a great way to improve your casting.
We will hopefully arrive Tues., still have to put up a new issue Sunday night and take care of brushfires on Monday.
Look forward to seeing everyone!

LF, ...
Have a fine time out in Idaho.
Please, ... next year, ... DO NOT bring the Sage Do-Hickey ... I'd be too ashamed to see the results on my stcik waving http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/wink.gif.

Some of us with big E-GOS may say if we are 3 degrees off, "the machine although a great thing... it needs recalibrated about 3 degrees."

Wooohooo Idaho here I come http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif
Then you have me who is probably 90 degrees off from being an expert LOL. I can use all the help I can get in casting. Ah well looking forward to another fine time in Idaho. Tying some flies up right now http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif, or at least trying to http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif).
Will get there tomorrow and then spend Sunday thru Wednesday camped and fishing the Selway up beyond the end of the road http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif.

Well, waiting to see how the roads are going to be, calling for snow (2-4 at 5000' in the Butte/Anaconda area) and I have to drive over Homestake Pass (6000' + with 5 - 9 inches possible) tomorrow morning which could be entertaining. Ahh well I will just take my time and leave a bit later in the morning than originally planned but I still should get there in time to do a little fishing tomorrow (I hope).
Not sure which is more entertaining, the possible drive or some of the worst tied caddis patterns known to man which I am tying right now. I have been waiting to return to Idaho for almost a year and I am really getting fired up for it now http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif. Look forward to seeing everyone there.

Edit: the weather for the Lowell area looks much better than the Bozeman thru Anaconda area, maybe some rain but at least no white stuff.

I'm tying up a few more caddis for the trip, packing warm cloths for the evenings and rain gear as well.
Checked the weather for Lewiston and they're calling for warm, but cloudy days for the whole fish-in except rain on the 30th. Souds good to me.
Bringing the vise and some tying supplies, a full quiver of varous weight rods and lines, including a couple of speys.
Don't know if I want to get hooked up to that analyzer or not. JC, will it work on a two hander?
Back to the bench.

Y'all say hi to that big ole' moose that hangs out by the stocked pond, next to the ranger station. for me.
Tell him I'll be 'round to bother him in '08.

There is a fine line between fly fishing and standing in a river waving a stick, and YOU SIR have crossed that line!

If I remember the review of the Sage Analyzer correctly, it is only set up for a sage 5 wt right now.
