Pod cast ideas:
Who would you like to hear interviewed on our new Pod Casts? Make your list and post it below this....could be a person or a manufacturer? Probably should be within fly fishing (but that's not cast in stone). All suggestions and ideas welcome.
As per a suggestion, I'll make this 'sticky' so it will be around if you think of someone / something.

LadyFisher,
I assume we can nominate anyone? My pick would be Doug Swisher. I've got some of his videos and they have been a great help to me and I'd love to meet him someday.

I would like to suggest an interview with Jerry Siem of Sage. May be he can talk about what influences his design decision. I would also like to suggest a podcast on still water fishing.
-
maybe someone fromthe site sponsiors like albright or conranch.. it would be a value add for FAOL maybe attract more sponsors.
-
Lani Waller about his steelheading techniques and flies.
Philip Rowely and or Brian Chan on stillwater fishing.
-
Rick Hafele on entymology and nymphing techniques.
-
We are DEFINATELY going to be interviewing sponsors.. LF is working on a list for me on exactly that. So you can most certainly look forward to hearing from a few sponsors soon.
TT.

How about a video podcast of the dedication of JC's Memorial Bench? I know many of us will not be able to attend and the video would be the closest thing we have to being connected to the ceremony.
-
TyroneFly I heard yesterday that a video and Podcast are both planned for the dedication! Great minds think alike?
Hugs,

I would like to see an expert (whoever that might be) demonstrating the casting strokes of a switch rod.
-
I would suggest a Podcast of an interview with our own Ron Kusse. Or anyone of our great sponsors.

I love your idea! I might have to open a thread on fish stories to see who would be willing to go on 'record' to tell theirs, lol.

Not sure if these have been selected or not (kinda just jumped to the last page) but if we could I would like to hear
1) Mike “the vise thief bandit aka, Ohio Tuber” Flanagan, give his recipe of peanut butter fudge and how to store 5 and a half pounds, roughly 8 miles of chenille.
2) Joe V, on how to cover up that burning bread smell when company is 10 minutes out.
3) Spinner, on how to torment simple minded fly fishermen with beautiful pictures and tuff questions.
I’m just spit balling here, nothing in stone.

Mato,
Thank you so much for that post. Just a great laugh.

Robert Tomes, the author of "Musky on the Fly". I've heard him speak. He's very accomplished, knowledgeable, and approachable. Fly fishing for muskies opens up a relatively new frontier for us fly fishers.

How about interviewing other FAOL members, like Richard Komar, and how he developed the Hard-Hackle Worm and the Texas Bullfrog, etc... Or behind the scenes on how the website gets published every week (which I am sure is a straight slalom-run to the bottom, operating on the principles of Chaos Theory), or stories from other members on all kinds of subjects, tips and tricks, recipes, etc....
