Then that wasn't you that Jay Leno just showed causing a huge turkey explosion? :D
Looks good! Can you do candied yams in that thing, too?
-
At least you had the good sense NOT to do it your garage. 20#'s of LPG, 4gal of flammable oil and open flame are not three things to combine INDOORS! Yet unfortunately there are more than a few garages burnt down every year by this.
Good looking bird, did you inject it with any good seasonings?

Mmmm...Mmm...Mmm.. The bird looks good. Today it's leftovers at my little house, I'm having a turkey leftover sandwich for lunch.

I don't know about you but I ate too much!:(

I noticed someone is now manufacturing an infra-red oiless "Fryer" did anyone try one of those?
-
I don't know about the rest of you but since I fried the first turkey about 5 years ago, my family won't touch a baked bird anymore.
SAFETY is foremost when using 350 degree oil around fire.

My ONLY "problem" ( how can one have a " problem" with turkey?) is that deep frying produces no GRAVY. And for me and mine, GRAVY ( NOT canned-but drippings and roux based) and stuffing ( also from inside the bird)are VITAL parts of the experience. But ,as in ALL things, whatever floats YOUR boat.
