Anyone have any feedback on the Redington RS3 line? I know it is being discontinued but you kind find some real deals on them right now. I'm looking for a 4 wt and possibly a 6 wt.
Thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg. Check the WW forum - there is a post on the rs3 there. Cabela's has some dynamite prices on them right now, both in the stores and in their latest FF catalog. As mentioned, probably not much different than the rs4.
Good fishing!

Bob what's the WW forum? I'm not familiar with it?
Thanks,

I picked up a 4wt yesterday. Took it out the same day. I love it, it cast well is light and looks great./ The cork grip it quit decient compaired to my cabelas three forks 5wt. With out a doubt I will be getting another before their gone.
I had a great time fishing sunnys with it yesterday and this morning.
Just ordered a 7-1/2ft 4 wt this morning for $99.00...can't go wrong at that price. Since I fish mainly 5-6, i guess I now have an excuse to get a new reel and spare spool...and obviously new line(s)..oh the decisions we have to make :)
Came home from work today and lo and behold, my rod was waiting by the back door. Opened it up and noticed one of the end caps on the tube was missing...took the rod out of the sack, and noticed the ferrule end of the tip section was broken...about 2" up from the ferrule. Called Cabela's and they said they'll ship a new one out tommorrow and for me to use the pre-paid UPS sticker to send mine back. Good thing there's a UPS store about a 1/2 mile from my home. Ran right down there and returned it. Funny thing, though...there was absolutely no damage to the shipping tube whatsoever....zero. Here's hoping rod #2 arrives in better shape. Everybody raves about Cabela's customer service...let's see if they're correct.
