Joe Humphreys, 'On the Trout Stream'.
It's an illustrated guide to his fishing techniques.
The first section, about one third of the book, is dedicated to nymph fishing, including extensive photos of his methods for casting nymphs. In addition, he lists several hand-tied leaders for nymphs, various ways to fish nymphs in various types of water (i.e. deep pockets, swift runs, etc.).
He also includes his favorite nymphs, listing patterns and adds color photos.
Other sections include dry and wet fly fishing, various casting techniques and small stream fishing.
Joe is fairly well known as an expert nymph fisherman, so I don't think you can go wrong with him.
I had a chance to take a casting class with him last winter and got alot out of that three-hour session.
Bests,

Try "Midge Magic" by Holbrook/Koch. Directed to fishing small flies, but principles are of wide application. They work for me.
Rockeey, take a look at Dave Hughes book "Nymph Fishing", this book is still in print and offers some great info. Another excellent book if you can find a copy is "Nymph fishing for larger trout" by Charlie Brooks. I think it is currently out of print but I am sure it would be possible to find a copy. The third book I would recommend is "Nymphing, a basic book" by Gary Borger. All three books should be very informative for you. Rob
The three books that idahofisher recommended are great! I have all three and they cover the subject very well.

The one that I go back and read most often is a bit dated but still my favorite.
"Fishing the Nymph" by Jim Quick, Ronald Press c.1960
Things were different then, now they're the same.

'The Way of a Trout with a Fly'
by G.E.M. Skues is the best one I know.
"Trout Tactics" by Joe Humphreys is also excellent. Lots more besides nymphing covered, but its all good. "Slack Line Strategies" by John Judy also has excellent sections on nymphing.
Another good/older book is "Nymph Fishing in Practice", by Oliver Kite. Good stuff about tying and fishing.
